Ajaib Group is seeking a technology leader to steward our high-scale distributed backend and drive the architectural vision for a Digital Bank. You will translate business objectives into scalable system designs that meet observability, performance, and security targets.

As a people leader, you will mentor managers and engineers, align technical roadmaps with business goals, and ensure durable backend stability across Java/Go services and SQL layers in a regulated financial environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering with leadership experience guiding multiple teams.
• Experience with high-concurrency, large-scale distributed environments (e.g., 30M+ transactions/users).
• Strong knowledge of backend architectures, observability, performance, and security in regulated financial environments.

Responsibilities

• Define long-term technical direction for high-traffic microservices.
• Bridge business objectives with engineering execution and roadmaps for the Digital Bank.
• Mentor and develop leaders to build a high-performance, accountable engineering culture.
