Job summary

Thales, Jakarta-based, is seeking a Cloud Engineer (IMS) to run operations and incident management for our cloud infrastructure, spanning VMware private cloud and GCP public cloud. You will ensure health, troubleshoot OS, containers, networks, and storage, and act as Level 2 support.

You will monitor with Prometheus and Grafana, participate in change planning, automate tasks with Ansible and Helm, and contribute to security hardening and incident reviews in a global team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in cloud infrastructure or system administration.
• Hands-on experience with VMware Private Cloud and/or Google Cloud.
• Good understanding of networking, backup, OS, and storage fundamentals.
• Experience in ITIL driven environments (Incident, Change, Problem).

Responsibilities

• Run operations and incident management for cloud infra.
• Ensure day-to-day health of cloud infrastructure (VMware, GCP).
• Troubleshoot OS, container, network, and storage issues.
• Monitor system health, analyze logs, perform root-cause analysis.
• Participate in change planning and automation initiatives.
