The role requires proficiency with laboratory equipment, data handling, and strict adherence to SOPs and safety standards. Experience in a clinical setting is preferred to support hospital-wide quality indicators.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in performing laboratory tests and interpreting results.
• Ability to operate laboratory equipment according to SOPs.
• Strong analytical skills to support accurate diagnoses.
• Good communication with patients and healthcare staff.

Responsibilities

• Carry out laboratory examinations in hematology, chemistry, serology, urine, feces and body fluids.
• Enter data into the system and ensure complete, timely examination results.
• Prioritize reporting of critical results to doctors and nurses.
• Maintain equipment by routine checks, cleaning and preventive maintenance.
• Record storage and organization of examination results for accessibility.
• Procure/receive reagents and ensure smooth service continuity.
• Prepare data/reports on operational activities for superiors.
• Follow quality and safety procedures and participate in training.
