Job summary

Ulu Cliffhouse in Bali is seeking a dedicated Chief Engineer to lead all engineering and maintenance across the cliff-top beach club. You will manage preventive and corrective maintenance for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, pool systems, and building structures.

The role requires strong leadership, on-site hands-on supervision, and collaboration with departments to support daily operations and events while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing preventive and corrective maintenance in a hospitality setting.
• Strong leadership with ability to supervise engineering teams and coordinate with other departments.
• Knowledge of safety standards, regulations, and risk management in a resort/beach club context.
• Experience with building services: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool systems, and energy management.
• Hands-on on-site approach with calm under pressure and clear stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, pool systems, and building structures.
• Lead and schedule the engineering team; supervise vendors and contractors as needed.
• Coordinate with operations, safety, and events teams to ensure reliable facilities and safe guest experiences.
