Job summary

PT Jawa Satu Power is seeking a dedicated Civil Maintenance Technician to join our team in Cilamaya, Karawang. You will maintain and improve civil and stationary structures, ensuring reliability and safety across the plant infrastructure and supporting overall plant availability.

The role requires a Diploma (D3) in a related field, 3–5 years of experience in civil maintenance within industrial settings, and solid knowledge of reading civil drawings, QCPs, and CMMS reporting.

Qualifications

• Diploma (D3) in Civil Engineering, Building Construction, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 3–5 years of civil O&M or construction experience in power plants, industrial facilities, or similar environments.
• Good understanding of civil maintenance practices (concrete, pipelines, tanks, buildings, drainage, roads).
• Experience in routine, preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities.
• Ability to read and interpret civil drawings, specs, and technical documents.
• Familiar with QCPs and basic maintenance planning concepts.
• Experience using CMMS for recording/reporting.
• Knowledge of HSE requirements in industrial maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventive, corrective, and emergency civil maintenance per established procedures.
• Execute inspection, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of civil and stationary structures within plant facilities.
• Maintain concrete structures, drainage systems, roads, buildings, pipelines, tanks, and related infrastructure.
• Assist in developing and optimizing maintenance job plans based on site conditions.
• Participate in criticality and risk reviews to improve maintenance effectiveness and plant availability.
• Ensure activities comply with approved Quality Control Plans (QCPs).
• Support and execute unit outages for inspections, repairs, overhauls, and cleaning.
• Record work completion and maintenance findings in CMMS.
• Assist in spare parts and material forecasting to support reliability.
• Supervise contractors and ensure full HSE compliance.
• Prepare daily and major maintenance reports for the Civil Supervisor.
• Maintain updated technical documentation and maintenance records.

As a Civil Maintenance Technician, you will support the plant’s civil maintenance activities by ensuring the integrity, reliability, and safety of all civil and stationary structures within the facility. Through effective inspections, preventive maintenance, corrective work, and infrastructure improvements, you will help maintain optimal plant performance and long-term asset reliability.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Performing routine, preventive, corrective, and emergency civil maintenance activities in accordance with established procedures
• Executing inspection, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of civil and stationary structures within plant facilities
• Maintaining concrete structures, drainage systems, roads, buildings, pipelines, tanks, and related infrastructure
• Supporting the development and optimization of maintenance job plans based on site conditions and industry best practices

What You'll Bring

• Possess at least a Diploma (D3) in Civil Engineering, Building Construction, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in civil operation & maintenance or construction works within power plants, industrial facilities, or similar environments
• Good understanding of civil maintenance practices, including concrete structures, pipeline, tanks, buildings, drainage systems, roads, and stationary structures
• Experience in executing routine, preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities
• Ability to read and interpret civil drawings, specifications, and technical documents
• Familiar with Quality Control Plans (QCPs) and basic maintenance planning concepts
• Experience using CMMS or maintenance management systems for recording and reporting activities is an advantage
• Knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements in industrial maintenance work.
• Able to supervise and coordinate contractor daily activities when required.
• Willing to work under tight schedules, including during outages or emergency situations
• Good communication skills in English, both oral and written.
• Mature, disciplined, self-motivated, and able to work effectively in a team.
• Willing to be based in Cilamaya, Karawang.
