Job summary

PT Bhimasena Power Indonesia is seeking a Mechanical Junior Technician (MEJT) to join our maintenance team at the Batang, Central Java site. The position targets fresh graduates or candidates with 1–2 years of mechanical maintenance experience at coal-fired plants.

Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance, keeping the workshop tidy (5S), adhering to HSE standards, supporting outage activities, documenting daily tasks, and following PTW procedures.

Qualifications

• Diploma (D3) in Mechanical Engineering or related field with GPA >= 3.0/4.0.
• Fresh graduate or 1–2 years' experience in mechanical maintenance at a coal-fired plant.
• Knowledge of mechanical fundamentals and hydraulic/pneumatic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on non-critical mechanical systems per SOPs and work instructions.
• Maintain workshop 5S standards; keep tools and equipment ready for use.
• Carry out maintenance activities in compliance with HSE standards.
• Participate in outage and ongoing maintenance to minimize disruptions under supervision.
• Execute and document daily tasks and report to the Supervisor.
• Comply with Permit-to-Work (PTW) procedures and policies.
• Perform additional tasks to support organizational objectives.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on non-critical mechanicalsystems to ensure optimal performance and reliability in accordance with SOPsand Work Instructions.
• Maintain the tidiness and cleanliness (5S) of the workshop area, ensuringthat tools and equipment are always in ready-to-use condition.
• Carry out maintenance activities in compliance with HSE standards.
• Participate in outage activities and continuous maintenance to minimizeoperational disruptions, under the supervision of Senior Technician andSupervisor.
• Execute and document daily work tasks and report to the Supervisor.
• Understand and comply with applicable Permit-to-Work (PTW) procedures.
• Perform additional tasks as needed to support organizationalobjectives.

JobRequirements

• EducationalBackground: Minimum Diploma (D3) in Mechanical Engineering, IndustrialEngineering, or Energy Conversion Enigneering, with a minimum GPA is 3.0 of 4.0.
• Fresh graduate or possess 1–2 years of relevant experience in mechanicalmaintenance at a coal-fired steam power plant (PLTU).
• Possess knowledge of mechanical fundamentals and an understanding of theoperating principles of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Proficient inbasic computer operations and Microsoft Office applications, including MSExcel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Project.
• Proficient inEnglish, both spoken and written.
• Willing to beplaced in Batang, Central Java.
