Job summary

Batiqa Karawang is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to lead and coordinate kitchen sections, including hot, cold, pastry, and butchery, delivering high quality dishes in line with hotel standards.

You will train Demi Chef and Commis, monitor food costs, uphold HACCP and hygiene, and help develop new menu ideas while maintaining calm under pressure. This role requires strong leadership and the ability to work long hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as CDP / 2 years as Demi Chef.
• Strong knowledge of Chinese Cuisine.
• Good leadership and able to work in a team.
• Understand Food Cost, Hygiene & HACCP.
• Disciplined, creative, clean, and hard worker.
• Able to work under pressure & long hours.

Responsibilities

• Manage all kitchen sections (Hot Kitchen, Cold Kitchen, Pastry, Butchery) and ensure high quality food production.
• Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to hotel standard recipes.
• Ensure mise-en-place is ready for every service.
• Control food cost and minimize waste in your section.
• Check freshness and quality of all food materials.
• Supervise and train Demi Chef & Commis in your section.
• Ensure HACCP, hygiene, and sanitation standards are implemented.
