Job summary

Hilton Jakarta Bintaro Jaya seeks a Chief Engineer to lead all engineering operations for the hotel's systems, plant and equipment. You will ensure safety, reliability and regulatory compliance while aligning with POMEC budget and guest service standards.

Qualifications

10+ years in hotel/building services or related field.
5+ years as Chief/Assistant Chief Engineer in a 5-star hotel.
Trade-qualified in Electrical, Mechanical, or Plumbing/Gas Fitting.
Adapt to a flexible schedule; available 24/7 for emergencies.

Responsibilities

Lead facility operations: safety, compliance, and building systems.
Oversee maintenance, inspections, and repairs of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
Direct capital projects, budgeting, contractor bidding, licensing/permitting.
Manage work orders in the property maintenance system.
Ensure regulatory compliance and safety standards with permits.
Develop a high-performing engineering team and mentor staff.
Coordinate communication between Engineering and other hotel areas.
Maintain customer service focus while respecting guest privacy.
Drive sustainability and asset efficiency via building automation.
