Hilton Jakarta Bintaro Jaya seeks a Chief Engineer responsible for the entire engineering operations of the hotel's systems, plant and equipment. You will manage safety, compliance, and efficiency while supporting a world-class guest experience.

Leading a high-performing team, you will oversee capital projects, work orders, energy management via building automation, and regulatory permits, ensuring uptime and guest comfort around the clock.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or relevant certification.
• 10+ years in hotel/building services or related field; 5+ years as Chief/Assistant Chief Engineer in a 5-star hotel.
• Strong engineering background with trade expertise in Electrical, Mechanical, or Plumbing/Gas Fitting.
• Adapt to a flexible schedule; available 24/7 for emergencies.
• Specialized knowledge in HVAC, water treatment, hydraulics, chillers, electronics, lighting, elevators, fire safety.
• Familiar with government regulations and technical standards.

Responsibilities

• Partner in leading facility operations: direct safety, compliance of buildings and systems.
• Oversee facility maintenance: supervise electrical, mechanical, architectural systems.
• Support property improvement projects: budgeting, bids, licensing, permitting.
• Oversee work order fulfillment: ensure maintenance requests are documented.
• Ensure regulatory compliance: coordinate permits and inspections.
• Cultivate a high-performing team: performance management and development.
• Communication & Collaboration: ensure cross-area cooperation.
• Customer Service Focus: privacy and guest comfort.
• Sustainability & Efficiency: manage Lightstay platform and building automation.
