Job summary

Jabil is seeking a production team member to handle chemical process operations including anodizing, passivation, and chemical conversion coating. You will prepare chemical solutions, perform masking, cleaning, and inspection while ensuring 5S standards and safety compliance.

The role requires accurate recording of equipment and process data, with focus on meeting deadlines and maintaining quality workmanship in a fast-paced environment at our Bandung site.

Responsibilities

• Ensure work meets Jabil workmanship standards and monitor target achievement to fix problems.
• Perform anodizing, passivation and chemical conversion coating operations as per qualification documents.
• Test and verify compliance with chemical process qualification documents.
• Mix chemical solutions and prepare chemical process solutions.
• Mask and demask chemical process parts per procedure.
• Clean parts per qualification documents.
• Check compressed air quality in chemical process area and document results.
• Manage racks and baskets for parts per procedure.
• Perform pre-penetrant etch inspection of steels.
• Conduct physical inventory in designated area.
• Maintain 5S in the area and cleanliness at all times.
• Carry out daily preventive maintenance as required by process.
• Strive for continuous improvement in all areas of responsibility.
• Track process progress and ensure deadlines and schedules are met.
• Follow all safety rules and wear required protective equipment.
• Keep assigned area clean and organized.
• Comply with company security procedures.
