Job summary

Jabil in Indonesia is seeking a Production Specialist for chemical processes. You will retrieve, weigh, and mix chemical ingredients, monitor equipment, perform cleaning and maintenance tasks, and document process information to ensure quality and safety.

Responsibilities include anodizing, passivation, chemical coating operations, lot testing, inventory, 5S housekeeping, and supporting continuous improvement while adhering to safety policies and company procedures.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve, weigh, and mix chemical ingredients.
• Monitor equipment during chemical processes and adjust as needed.
• Repair machinery when problems arise to minimize downtime.
• Record data on equipment and chemical compounds for traceability.
• Mix and prepare Chemical Process solutions according to procedures.
• Mask and demask Chemical Process parts as required by procedures.
• Clean parts following Chemical Process qualification documents.
• Perform compressed air quality checks in the Chemical Process area and document results.
• Control racks and baskets for parts per procedure.
• Conduct pre-penetrant etch inspection of steels.
• Maintain accurate physical inventory in the designated area.
• Maintain 5S order and cleanliness at all times.
• Perform daily preventive maintenance tasks to meet process requirements.
• Strive for continuous improvement in all areas of responsibility.
• Track processes to ensure deadlines and schedules are met.
• Follow safety rules and wear required PPE.

Job Summary

Under direct supervision, responsible to work as an integral part of the production team and may be responsible for retrieving, weighing, and mixing chemical ingredients, monitoring equipment during the chemical process, repairing machinery if problem arises, and recording information about equipment and compounds.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Ensure work meets or exceeds Jabil workmanship standards and monitor the target achievement closely in order to fix repetitive and recognized problems immediately.
• Perform Anodizing, Passivation, Chemical Conversion Coating operations based on qualification documents.
• Perform lot testing and verification of compliance to the requirements of Chemical Process qualification documents.
• Responsible for mixing chemical and preparation of Chemical Process solution.
• Responsible to carry out masking and demasking Chemical Process part according to the procedure.
• Perform cleaning of parts based on Chemical Process qualification documents.
• Perform compressed air quality checking in Chemical Process area and reporting on appropriate form.
• Perform controlling of racks and basket for parts according to the procedure.
• Perform pre-penetrant Etch Inspection of steels.
• Conduct physical inventory in the designated area.
• Maintaining 5S order and cleanliness at all times.
• Perform the daily preventive maintenance activities to the process requirement.
• Strive for continuous improvement in all areas of responsibility.
• Track the process and ensure all deadlines and schedules are met.
• Adhere to all safety rules, use, and ensure that workers use the required protective equipment.
• Ensure that assigned area is clean and organized.
• Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
• Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
• S02 grade may have more/higher target to achieve.
