Job summary

Responsibilities include maintaining food logs, communicating with the chef and service staff about menu specials, and supporting staff through training, scheduling, and coaching to uphold safety and quality policies.

Qualifications

• Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
• Related Work Experience: At least 3 years of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
• License or Certification: None

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals according to recipes, quality standards, and food preparation checklists.
• Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters.
• Maintain food logs and ensure proper portioning, garnish, and presentation.
• Inform staff of menu specials and out-of-stock items; communicate needs during busy periods.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, and coaching employees.
