Job summary

BBN Airlines Indonesia is hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our aviation team. You will perform pre-departure checks, maintenance tasks, and ensure airworthiness in line with regulations and company procedures, both domestically and internationally.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of AME experience, holds AMEL with A320 Family and B737-NG rating, and an RII is a plus. Fluency in English is required and competency in Word/Excel is expected.

Qualifications

• Aviation engineering background required.
• 5+ years as Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.
• Fluent English required.
• AMEL with A320 Family and B737-NG rating; RII preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform Pre-departure, Transit, Daily/Service Check and unscheduled maintenance as per procedures.
• Maintain aircraft, ground equipment, and facilities to meet airworthiness standards and schedules.
• Ensure aircraft is dispatched airworthy and properly configured for operations.
• Provide on-board engineering support for domestic and international flights as assigned.
• Offer on-call support for AOG events or time-critical technical issues.
• Update maintenance status during maintenance, defect rectification, or AOG.
• Coordinate with MCC Group for findings, rectification plans and spare needs.
• Act as Technical Representative for monitoring maintenance performed by MRO.
• Other tasks assigned by Maintenance Manager.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Perform Pre-departure, Transit, Daily / Service Check, and unscheduled maintenance according to approved procedures.
• Responsible for maintaining aircraft, ground equipment (including company tools and equipment), and facilities as needed to meet airworthiness standards, operating schedules, and performance standards.
• Ensure that the aircraft is dispatched for operations in an airworthy condition, properly equipped, and configured for operation maintained in accordance with aviation regulation and company procedure.
• Accompany the aircraft as engineer on-board to support aircraft flying program domestically and internationally
• Participate in providing as needed on-call support for AOG events or other situation requiring time‑critical technical support.
• Update periodically about maintenance status of aircraft during maintenance, defect rectification, or AOG
• Coordination within MCC Group for any findings, rectification plan, spare required, etc.
• Assigned as Technical Representative for monitoring Maintenance Performed by MRO.
• Any other task assigned by Maintenance Manager

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Area of Education :Aviation Engineering education background or related
• Experience : 5 years as Aircraft Maintenance Engineer
• Language Proficiency : Fluent in English language
