About the role

We are seeking a Casual Cook to join the dynamic kitchen team at Chook and Roos Sports Bar in Badung, Bali. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment. As a Casual Cook, you will play a vital role in maintaining the quality and consistency of our food offerings whilst supporting our restaurant's reputation for excellence. You will work flexibly within our kitchen operations, adapting to varying service demands and contributing to a positive team atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and food standards
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety in compliance with health regulations
• Operate kitchen equipment proficiently and safely
• Work efficiently during peak service periods to meet customer orders within appropriate timeframes
• Coordinate with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to ensure smooth service delivery
• Assist with food inventory checks and stock rotation
• Maintain a clean and organised kitchen workspace
• Support senior kitchen staff and follow kitchen procedures and protocols
• Adapt to varying shift schedules and service demands as required
