KOPIKINA INDONESIA is seeking a cashier/front-of-house staff to operate the POS system and process payments at the Jakarta Timur location. You will greet customers, handle orders, and ensure accurate reservations and records.
We expect 1-2 years in a cashier/front-of-house role, basic cash handling, and strong customer service. ESB Order system experience is a strong advantage; weekend/holiday shifts required.
Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system to process customer orders and payments (cash, debit/credit, QR, etc.).
Issue receipts and ensure the correct change is returned.
Perform daily cash counting and reconciliation at the beginning and end of the shift.
Greet customers warmly and answer questions regarding the menu, promotions, or payment options.
Coordinate with the kitchen or barista team to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and elevate to a supervisor if needed.
Double-check take-away and dine-in orders before handing them to customers.
Ensure all transactions are properly recorded for inventory and accounting purposes.
Keep the cashier station clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies (receipts, bags, etc.).
Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the front area as needed.
Support front-of-house operations during peak hours (e.g., helping with serving or packing orders).
Participate in opening and closing procedures as assigned.
Minimum high school or vocational school graduate (preferably in hospitality, administration, or related fields).
1-2 years experience as a cashier or in a front-of-house role in a café, restaurant, or retail environment.
Proficient in operating POS systems and handling various payment methods (cash, debit/credit, QR).
Able to perform basic cash handling, daily cash counting, and transaction reconciliation accurately.
Strong customer service orientation with good communication and problem-handling skills.
Detail-oriented and disciplined in recording transactions and checking order accuracy.
Understands basic hygiene, cleanliness, and front-area operational standards.
Willing to support front-of-house operations during peak hours and assist with opening and closing duties.
Able to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
Experience in operating ESB Order system will be a strong advantage.
