Job summary

Kinoa Cafe in Bali is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented cashier to handle all payments, ensure accurate billing, and operate the POS system.

You will greet customers, process cash, card, QRIS payments, manage discounts and voids with proper authorization, and maintain an orderly cashier area. Daily tasks include cash counting, end-of-shift handovers, and ensuring records are tidy for smooth service.

Responsibilities

• Handle all cash, credit/debit card, QRIS and other digital payment transactions accurately.
• Process customer bills and payments in accordance with company procedures.
• Ensure all transactions are recorded correctly in the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Greet customers politely and maintain a friendly, professional attitude.
• Assist customers with billing inquiries, payment procedures and transaction-related questions.
• Handle customer complaints or payment issues professionally and promptly.
• Ensure all discounts, promotions, vouchers and complimentary items are authorized by management.
• Ensure all voids, refunds and bill adjustments are properly authorized and documented.
• Perform daily cash counting and reconciliation at the beginning and end of shifts, as required.
• Ensure proper handover of cash, reports, and relevant documents between shifts.
• Ensure all orders are properly entered into the POS system.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization and tidiness of the cashier counter.
• Ensure cashier equipment, including POS machines, payment terminals and cash drawers, are properly maintained.
