Job summary

PT SMART Tbk is seeking a capable finance professional to oversee Capex Project Controlling, monitor project budgets, control spending, and ensure timely follow-up across control workstreams.

You will support feasibility studies for the BDSP Singapore team, prepare quarterly Capex reports, review subsidiary performance, and assist with procurement governance, with travel to refineries or sites as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting from a reputable university.
• Minimum of 8 years in Operations Controlling, Project Controlling, Procurement Controls, or Compliance-related roles.
• Experience in Capex Project Controlling and monitoring budgets, spending, timelines and deviations.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with ability to identify risks and control gaps.
• High attention to detail with a structured, objective approach.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple reviews simultaneously.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with clear findings delivery.
• Willing to be based at Head Office, Jakarta, with readiness to travel to refineries/sites when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform Capex Project Controlling - monitor budgets, control spending, timelines, and performance against plan.
• Support Feasibility Studies for the BDSP Singapore team with analysis and data.
• Prepare the Quarterly Capex Report and Project Benefit calculations (Actual vs FS).
• Perform Monthly subsidiary company Performance Review.
• Provide support for subsidiary operational issues, including contracts and timely coordination with internal/ external parties.
• Review documents for PAM HO and others as assigned by Head of HO Controller.
• Support improvements in procurement governance, efficiency, and process discipline.
• Build trust-based relationships while maintaining objectivity.
