Kompas Gramedia di Jakarta Barat sedang mencari tenaga Sales & Marketing yang menguasai bahasa Jepang untuk mengakuisisi klien Jepang di Indonesia melalui canvassing, outreach, dan networking; peran utamanya adalah memahami kebutuhan klien dan mencocokkannya dengan layanan perusahaan.

Anda akan menyiapkan proposal, melakukan presentasi penjualan, dan mendukung pitch dengan tim internal untuk eksekusi kampanye serta mencapai target pendapatan.

Qualifications

• Menguasai bahasa Jepang secara profesional.
• Gelar sarjana di bidang apa pun.
• Pengalaman 1–3 tahun di business development atau penjualan.
• Pengalaman bekerja dengan perusahaan Jepang atau peran terkait Jepang diutamakan.
• Mampu menjelaskan tantangan saat berurusan dengan klien Jepang dan bagaimana membangun kepercayaan.
• Memiliki jaringan dalam komunitas bisnis Jepang.
• Keterampilan komunikasi, negosiasi, dan presentasi yang kuat.
• Memahami kebutuhan klien dan solusi pemasaran/media.
• Mampu berkomunikasi dalam bahasa Inggris, baik tertulis maupun lisan.

Job description

DESKRIPSI PEKERJAAN

• Acquire new Japanese clients in Indonesia through canvassing, outreach, and networking, identify client needs, and match them with the company’s services.
• Prepare proposals, conduct sales presentations, and support pitching, primarily in Japanese.
• Coordinate with internal teams for campaign execution and KPI delivery.
• Secure sponsorships for company events and partnership programs.
• Maintain the sales pipeline, negotiate deals, and achieve revenue targets.

KUALIFIKASI MINIMUM

• Proficient in Japanese.
• Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in business development or sales, particularly in client acquisition.
• Experience working with Japanese companies or in Japan-related roles is preferred.
• Demonstrated track record in successfully acquiring, pitching to, or closing deals with Japanese companies is highly preferred. Candidates should be able to explain the challenges faced when dealing with Japanese clients and the approach used to build trust, address concerns, and secure the business.
• Have an existing network within Japanese business communities.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Good understanding of client needs and marketing/media solutions.
• Able to communicate in English, both written and verbal.
