Qualifications

• Proven experience in building maintenance or facilities management.
• Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural maintenance).
• Experience leading a team of labourers and maintenance staff.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills.
• Sound understanding of health and safety regulations and building codes.
• Ability to respond effectively to maintenance emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate maintenance staff and labourers.
• Conduct daily inspections of building facilities.
• Plan and schedule routine maintenance to minimise disruption.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies with contractors.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and staff performance.
• Communicate with management and tenants about issues and updates.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and operational improvements.
