Job summary

DECA Group seeks a Content Creator to build and execute the Owner’s personal social media presence, translating personality and experiences into authentic content.

You will develop pillars and calendars, script and edit short-form videos, identify daily life moments as opportunities, and coordinate with producers while maintaining discretion and confidentiality.

Collaborate with senior stakeholders, monitor trends, and ensure consistent tone and visual direction across platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related field required.
• 1+ year of experience in social media, content creation, or personal branding.
• Strong understanding of platforms, trends, and short-form video formats.
• Excellent storytelling and copywriting abilities.
• Able to film and edit short-form content using CapCut or Canva.
• Proactive, creative, and able to identify opportunities quickly.
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to work with senior stakeholders.
• Highly organized and discrete when handling confidential information.
• Passionate about social media, digital culture, and personal branding.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute content strategies to grow the Owner’s social media presence.
• Translate personality, experiences, and insights into authentic content.
• Develop pillars, calendars, concepts, and storytelling angles across platforms.
• Create and manage content end-to-end: ideation, scripting, filming, and editing.
• Identify moments from daily life and business journey as content opportunities.
• Collaborate with the Owner to align communication style and branding direction.
• Monitor trends and performance to improve content strategy.
• Maintain consistent tone, visual direction, and personal brand across all platforms.
• Coordinate with internal or external resources for shoots and production.
• Handle information with discretion and confidentiality.
