Job summary

UOB Indonesia is seeking a Branch Manager to oversee the UOB Plaza branch, driving sales, operations, customer service, and team leadership to achieve business objectives and enhance client satisfaction.

The role requires 5–7 years in retail banking with 2–3 years in a managerial capacity, a Bachelor's degree in Business/Finance, and strong leadership and regulatory knowledge to ensure compliant, customer-focused service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Banking, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in retail banking, with 2-3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing branch operations.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of banking products, services, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to analyze financial data and make sound business decisions.
• Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to achieve branch sales targets for banking products and services.
• Oversee daily branch operations, ensuring adherence to internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of branch staff, providing coaching, training, and performance evaluations.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the local market, including corporate and individual clients.
• Monitor and manage branch budget, expenses, and profitability.
• Ensure a high level of customer service quality and experience.
• Manage operational risks and compliance within the branch.
• Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management.
