Job summary

3111 UOB Indonesia is seeking an experienced Branch Manager for the UOB Plaza branch in Jakarta. The role focuses on driving sales, delivering exceptional customer service, and leading a high-performing team to achieve strategic objectives.

You will oversee operations, ensure regulatory compliance, manage budgets, and build strong relationships with clients while identifying new business opportunities in the local market. Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 5-7 years in retail banking with 2-3 years in a managerial role.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing branch operations.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of banking products, services and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to analyze financial data and make sound business decisions.
• Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to achieve branch sales targets for banking products and services (loans, deposits, wealth management).
• Oversee daily branch operations, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Lead, motivate and develop a team of branch staff with coaching and evaluations.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the local market (corporate and individual clients).
• Monitor and manage branch budget, expenses and profitability.
• Ensure a high level of customer service quality and experience.
• Manage operational risks and compliance within the branch.
• Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management.
