Job summary

Surbana Jurong is seeking a BIM Engineer to develop intelligent 3D models for architectural, civil and structure systems using Revit or equivalent BIM tools. You will lead multidisciplinary clash detection in Navisworks/BIM 360 to identify and resolve spatial conflicts before construction, minimising field rework.

You will also produce accurate 2D shop drawings from the BIM model and ensure conformity with BEPs, LOD requirements, and engineering codes.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering data-rich 3D BIM models for architectural, civil & structure systems.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit or similar BIM software for model development.
• Experience performing multidisciplinary clash detection to resolve spatial conflicts.

Job description

Model Development: Create and maintain intelligent, data-rich 3D models of Architectural, Civil & Structure systems using Autodesk Revit or any BIM software.

Coordination & Clash Detection: Perform multidisciplinary clash detection in Navisworks or BIM 360/ACC to identify and resolve spatial conflicts before construction, reducing field rework.

Documentation: Generate precise 2D shop drawings and installation layouts derived directly from the BIM model.

Standards Compliance: Ensure all models adhere to project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), LOD (Level of Development) requirements, and relevant engineering codes.

Collaboration: Participate in regular coordination meetings with architects, structural engineers, MEP engineers and contractors to align design goals and resolve technical conflicts.

Data Management: Manage model data, including parametric families, schedules, and quantity take-offs for accurate cost estimation and procurement.

Coordination with Lead BIM Engineer in day-to-day operation and report to respective Regional Lead.

This position can also be based at project site (if required)

Secondary role will be as project engineer (if required).
