Job summary

Surbana Jurong is seeking a BIM Engineer to develop data-rich 3D architectural, civil, and structural models using Autodesk Revit. You will perform multidisciplinary clash detection, generate 2D shop drawings from BIM data and ensure BEP/Lod compliance.

You will collaborate with architects, structural and MEP engineers and contractors to align design goals. The role may be based on-site at project locations, with day-to-day collaboration under the Lead BIM Engineer and Regional Lead.

Qualifications

• Experience creating data-rich 3D BIM models for architectural, civil and structural elements.
• Ability to run multidisciplinary clash detection and resolve spatial conflicts.
• Familiarity with BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and Level of Development (LOD) requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain intelligent 3D BIM models using Revit or similar BIM software.
• Perform multidisciplinary clash detection in Navisworks or BIM 360/ACC.
• Generate precise 2D shop drawings and installation layouts from the BIM model.
• Coordinate with lead BIM engineer and report progress to regional leads.
• Participate in regular coordination meetings with architects, structural, MEP engineers and contractors.

Job description

• Model Development: Create and maintain intelligent, data-rich 3D models of Architectural, Civil & Structure systems using Autodesk Revit or any BIM software.
• Coordination & Clash Detection: Perform multidisciplinary clash detection in Navisworks or BIM 360/ACC to identify and resolve spatial conflicts before construction, reducing field rework.
• Documentation: Generate precise 2D shop drawings and installation layouts derived directly from the BIM model.
• Standards Compliance: Ensure all models adhere to project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), LOD (Level of Development) requirements, and relevant engineering codes.
• Collaboration: Participate in regular coordination meetings with architects, structural engineers, MEP engineers and contractors to align design goals and resolve technical conflicts.
• Data Management: Manage model data, including parametric families, schedules, and quantity take-offs for accurate cost estimation and procurement.
• Coordination with Lead BIM Engineer in day-to-day operation and report to respective Regional Lead.
• This position can also be based at project site (if required)
• Secondary role will be as project engineer (if required).
