Surbana Jurong is seeking a BIM Engineer to develop intelligent 3D MEP models and coordinate across design teams in Jakarta. You will model using Autodesk Revit, perform clash detection, and generate shop drawings while ensuring BEP and LOD compliance. The role involves collaboration with architects, engineers, and contractors, with potential project-site duties.

Responsibilities

• Model Development: Create and maintain intelligent 3D MEP models using BIM software.
• Coordination & Clash Detection: Perform multidisciplinary clash checks to resolve spatial conflicts.
• Documentation: Generate precise 2D drawings and installation layouts from BIM model.
• Standards Compliance: Ensure models adhere to BEP, LOD requirements, and codes.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with architects, structural and MEP engineers, and contractors.
• Data Management: Manage model data, schedules, and take-offs for cost estimates.
• Reporting: Coordinate with Lead BIM Engineer and report to Regional Lead.

Job Description

• Model Development: Create and maintain intelligent, data-rich 3D models of Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) systems using Autodesk Revit or any BIM software.
• Coordination & Clash Detection: Perform multidisciplinary clash detection in Navisworks or BIM 360/ACC to identify and resolve spatial conflicts before construction, reducing field rework.
• Documentation: Generate precise 2D shop drawings and installation layouts/drawings derived directly from the BIM model.
• Standards Compliance: Ensure all models adhere to project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), LOD (Level of Development) requirements, and relevant engineering codes.
• Collaboration: Participate in regular coordination meetings with architects, structural engineers, MEP engineers and contractors to align design goals and resolve technical conflicts.
• Data Management: Manage model data, including parametric families, schedules, and quantity take-offs for accurate cost estimation and procurement.
• Coordination with Lead BIM Engineer in day-to-day operation and report to respective Regional Lead.
• This position can also be based at project site (if required) Secondary role will be as project engineer (if required).
