Job summary

HITHINK TECHNOLOGY INDONESIA is seeking a Software Engineer Project Manager (Japanese or Mandarin speaker) based in South Jakarta. The role blends software project leadership with hands-on management, coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver complex programs on time.

The ideal candidate has 3–6 years in a managerial PM role, experience handling projects over 300 person-months or teams of 20+, and JLPT N3 or fluent English.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of specialized experience with managerial roles.
• Experience managing projects cumulatively exceeding 300 person-months or leading teams of 20+ members.
• Willingness to travel for project needs.
• Fluent bilingual communication in Japanese (JLPT N3) or English.

Responsibilities

• Define project deliverables, manage scope changes, and align team/client expectations.
• Develop, monitor, and adjust schedules to ensure timely delivery.
• Create budgets, control expenses, and address cost variances.
• Implement quality standards, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement.
• Assess risks, plan mitigations, and execute contingency measures.
• Oversee procurement plans, vendor performance, and execution.
• Build and lead teams, manage workloads, coach talent, and conduct evaluations.
• Develop communication strategies, engage stakeholders, and provide regular reports.
• Conduct reviews and capture lessons learned.
• Support sales in negotiations, contracts, and payments.
• Maintain PMO frameworks, policies, and workflows.
• Ad-hoc tasks from leadership.
