Job summary

RGF HR Agent Indonesia is seeking a Japanese Speaker Purchasing EXIM Staff for a Japanese paint company in Jakarta. The role handles global purchasing, EXIM documentation, and coordination with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.

Requirements include JLPT N3, strong English, and at least 2 years in purchasing or EXIM. Detail-oriented with strong communication and negotiation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High conversational Japanese (JLPT N3) & high conversational English proficiency.
• At least 2 years of experience as Purchasing or EXIM Staff Japanese Speaker.
• Detail-oriented with good communication, negotiation, coordination and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle purchasing activities: sourcing suppliers, requesting quotations, price comparison, and issuing purchase orders.
• Coordinate with local and overseas suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and goods.
• Support EXIM documentation: invoices, packing lists, shipping docs, and related paperwork.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and shipping companies for import/export shipments.
• Monitor shipment schedules, delivery status and customs clearance processes.
• Communicate with Japanese-speaking counterparts, suppliers, and internal departments in Japanese.
• Support price negotiations, supplier evaluations and cost control.
• Ensure all purchasing and EXIM activities comply with company procedures and import-export regulations.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, shipment documents and related reports.
