Job summary

PT Expat Roasters Indonesia in Bali seeks a friendly, energetic service-oriented team member to support cafe operations. You will inform customers about products, educate on coffee and brewing methods, take orders and payments, and prepare beverages and foods with a focus on hospitality.

The role requires readiness to work peak hours, strong listening and communication skills, and the ability to maintain high standards of service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School or equivalent.
• Experience in food and beverage preparation or customer service preferred.
• Training and willingness to continue learning about food and beverage preparation.
• Exceptional listening and communication skills.
• Excellent leadership and decision making skills.
• Ability to walk, bend, and stand for extended periods.
• Availability to work around peak hours, including nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, calibrate, maintain, and control the coffee machines and grinders, and POS machine.
• Provide daily sales report.
• Upsell and cross-sell various menu items.
• Display retail products according to FIFO order.
• Receive delivered supplies and verify quantities.
• Clean cafe area.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and quality controls.

Educate customers of coffee and brewing methods.

Receive customers' orders and payment.

Prepare ordered beverages and foods.

Serve ordered items to customers.

Offer retail products and on going promotions.

Prepare, calibrate, maintain, and control the coffee machines and grinders, and POS machine.

Provide daily sales report.

Upsells and cross-sells various menu items.

Display retail products according to FIFO order.

Receive delivered supplies and verify that the correct items and quantities have been delivered.

Clean all cafe area (i.e. bar, seating area, restroom, parking, etc.).

Adhere to all food safety regulations and quality controls.
