Key responsibilities

Prepare matcha-based beverages with consistent taste and quality standards

Master sifting, whisking, brewing, and mixing techniques for matcha

Conduct R&D, recipe development, trials, and product testing for new menu items

Perform experiments and evaluate taste, texture, aroma, and presentation

Create recipe standardisation, measurements, SOPs, and product quality guidelines

Perform basic costing and optimise raw material usage

Conduct quality control and maintain hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards

Follow matcha and beverage trends to generate product innovations

About you

Experienced as a Barista, particularly with matcha-based products

Understand matcha types, quality, characteristics, and processing techniques

Have experience or capability in Beverage R&D and Recipe Development

Creative, detail-oriented, with good taste sensitivity and problem-solving skills

Understand F&B operation basics, costing, and food safety

Passionate about matcha and beverage innovation

Able to work independently and within a team
