Job summary

The Stripe Lab in Bali, Indonesia is seeking a friendly Barista to join our small café. You will prepare and serve coffee and other drinks, whip up Scandinavian-style waffles, and follow our recipes and hygiene standards.

You will welcome customers, take orders, handle payments, and keep the café tidy. A team player with a proactive attitude will thrive in our warm, Scandinavian-inspired space in Canggu.

Qualifications

• Experience as a barista, café or restaurant is preferred but not essential.
• Must be able to speak English.
• Ability to work efficiently in a small café environment.
• Team oriented with willingness to learn and take initiative.
• Previous café experience is not required but helpful.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and serving coffee and other drinks.
• Making fresh waffles using our waffle machine.
• Preparing and serving food according to our recipes and standards.

• Keeping the café and customer area clean and organised.
• Preparing the café before opening.
• Helping with daily opening and closing routines.
• Keeping ingredients and products organised.
• Checking stock and informing the supervisor when supplies are running low.

• Helping create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for our customers.

The Stripe Lab is a small Scandinavian-inspired concept store and café in Canggu (Jl Tanah Barak). Our 20 sqm space combines Scandinavian design, carefully selected products and a simple café concept focused on great coffee and freshly made Scandinavian-style waffles.
