Job summary

Qualifications

Job description

Barback position supporting bartenders in bar operations, responsible for preparing and maintaining all operational requirements including stock management, equipment maintenance, and ensuring smooth service during busy periods.

Key responsibilities

Assist bartender in preparing bar operational needs

Ensure availability of ice, glassware, garnish, mixer, fruit, and other bar supplies

Perform restocking and refill of bar supplies regularly

Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar area, storage, and equipment

Wash and prepare glassware according to hygiene standards

Assist with receiving, storage, and arrangement of bar inventory

Check stock levels before and during operations

Retrieve and deliver supplies from storage to bar area quickly and accurately

Support bartender during busy hours to ensure smooth operations

Handle waste and unnecessary items promptly

About you

Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent

Minimum 1 year experience as Barback, Bar Crew, Runner, Steward, or similar position in Restaurant, Bar, Hotel, Lounge, or Hospitality

Understanding of basic bar operations

Basic knowledge of glassware, ice, garnish, mixer, and bar equipment is an advantage

Good physical stamina and fitness due to extensive standing, walking, lifting, and movement during operations

Willing to work shifts including nights, weekends, and public holidays

Able to work quickly, especially during busy periods

Able to follow instructions and SOP well

Good communication skills and ability to work in a team

Honest, disciplined, responsible, with good work attitude
