Job summary

Manuza in Bali is seeking a Steward to join our team and support the delivery of clean, organised kitchen operations. You will wash and sanitise crockery, glassware, and utensils while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and teamwork.

This hands-on role requires reliability, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment alongside kitchen, service, bar, and management teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen cleaning and dishwashing roles preferred.
• Understanding of hygiene and safe food handling procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, sanitise, and store crockery, cutlery, glassware, cookware, kitchen utensils, and other equipment.
• Operate dishwashing machines and cleaning equipment safely and in line with procedures.
• Maintain a continuous supply of clean plates, bowls, cutlery, glassware and utensils during service.
• Clean and sanitise kitchen areas, dishwashing stations, floors, sinks, storage areas and back-of-house spaces.
• Report damaged equipment, shortages, spills and safety hazards promptly.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety requirements at all times.
