Job summary

Onbali is seeking an Assistant Food Technologist (Assistant Cost Control) to support four restaurant outlets in Bali. You will manage inventory, monitor food costs, check POS transactions, and keep stock and cost records accurate across outlets.

Ideal candidates have basic accounting knowledge, strong numerical skills, and proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets. Fresh graduates are welcome; willingness to travel between outlets is important.

Qualifications

• Must currently live in Bali, Indonesia
• Basic knowledge of accounting, inventory management, and cost calculation
• Fresh graduates welcome and open to learning
• Familiar with Syrve POS or restaurant management systems is a strong advantage
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
• Detail-oriented, analytical, organized and responsible
• Willing and able to travel between 4 restaurant outlets as required

Responsibilities

• Stock & Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring stock levels, conducting physical stock counts, and ensuring inventory records are accurate and up to date across all four outlets.
• Food Cost Control: Assist in calculating and monitoring food COGS, analyzing stock usage, and identifying discrepancies or potential food cost variances.
• POS System Monitoring: Conduct regular POS checks to ensure sales transactions, menu items, and system records are accurate and properly recorded.
• System Implementation: Assist in implementing, maintaining, and improving restaurant operational systems, including inventory and cost control processes.
• Stock Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling physical stock counts with system records and investigating discrepancies.
• Reporting & Documentation: Prepare inventory reports, food cost calculations, and other supporting documents related to cost control.
• Outlet Coordination: Visit different restaurant outlets regularly to support stock control, verify inventory records, and ensure consistent implementation of procedures.
• Operational Support: Work closely with outlet teams and management to improve inventory accuracy, minimize waste, and maintain effective cost control practices
