Job summary

Doughnut Boss in Bali is seeking a skilled Baker to join our vibrant bakery team. This full-time role focuses on producing high-quality donuts, breads, and pastries, adhering to our recipes and quality standards.

You will use commercial ovens and mixers, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and help with recipe development. The ideal candidate has formal baking training or hands-on experience, works well in a busy environment, and is available for early morning shifts and some weekends.

Qualifications

• Formal baking qualification or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 1 year of baking experience.
• Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and flavour combinations.
• Ability to operate commercial baking equipment safely.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high quality.
• Willingness to work early morning shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake bread, pastries, cakes, and doughnuts to standard recipes.
• Weigh and mix ingredients using standard kitchen equipment.
• Monitor bake times and temperatures to ensure perfect results.
• Decorate with icings, glazes, fillings and toppings.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bakery.
• Follow food safety regulations at all times.
• Assist with product development and recipe testing.
• Support team to meet daily production targets.
• Train and mentor junior bakers when needed.
