Job summary

BAKED. in Bali seeks a Pastry Associate to execute daily production of baked goods and pastries at outlet level, ensuring recipes are followed, food safety and hygiene standards are met, and a rigorous baking schedule maintains product availability.

The role requires 1+ year bakery experience, strong pastry knowledge, and the ability to work safely with kitchen equipment while collaborating with the team and adapting to shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum Senior High School (Hospitality or Pastry Arts background preferred).
• Proven at least 1 year experience in a bakery or pastry production role within a fast-paced environment.
• Has an extensive knowledge of pastry, bakery, or other baked goods.
• Ability to prepare pastry according to recipes and SOP standards.
• Basic understanding of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation.
• Able to operate kitchen equipment safely and follow production flow.
• Communicates clearly with team members.
• Detail-oriented, disciplined, and able to work in a team-based environment.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and weigh ingredients for fillings and toppings accurately.
• Prepare and proof pastries following BAKED. standard techniques.
• Adhere to the strict Baking Schedule to guarantee fresh products and products availability throughout the day.
• Ensure all products meet BAKED. quality standards.
• Assist in regular taste tests and visual inspections.
• Assist FOH and Kitchen team for reheating baked goods using BAKED. Reheating standard.
• Completes assigned learning modules, including BAKED. Silo Academy, within required timelines.
