Job summary

Metso is inviting applications for a Backlog & Exception Management (BEM) Specialist to strengthen delivery performance across the business. • Identify and prioritise exception cases, ensuring timely resolution and escalation.
• Support accurate ATP and customer-date management.
• Coordinate expediting activities for critical customer orders.
• Provide visibility through backlog reporting, analytics, and KPIs.
• Drive structured escalation where customer commitments are at risk.
• Work cross-functionally to align execution across Business Areas and Market Areas.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of backlog processes, data quality, and governance.

About The Role

As a Backlog & Exception Management Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and optimising backlog execution across the market.

You will work closely with Customer Service, Supply Chain, Logistics and Operations teams to ensure customer orders are delivered on time, risks are mitigated, and exceptions are resolved efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

As a BEM Specialist, you will:

• Manage daily backlog execution, including monitoring backlog health, ageing, and risks
