Job summary

Flex is a diversified manufacturing partner supporting brands to design, build, and deliver innovative products. The role is based in Batam, focusing on backend process engineering for volume production and TPI projects, with emphasis on laser marking, labeling, and assembly processes.

You will drive process improvements, implement new lines, and contribute to quality and efficiency initiatives. The position requires a Bachelor-level engineering degree, strong background in electronics

Qualifications

Bachelor degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Electronics or relevant.
Experienced in Engineering and Manufacturing in Electronics industry.
Familiar with Backend Assembly processes and equipment.
Good knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six-Sigma.
Power Module knowledge is a plus.
Fluent in English, oral and written.
Good communications, interpersonal and leadership skills.
TPI experiences with good understanding and risk awareness.

Responsibilities

Provide daily engineering support to volume production and TPI projects.
Familiar with laser marking, De-pannel, labeling, assembly, packing and automatic processes.
Set process parameters for backend processes and control overall steps.
Track and drive improvements to improve OEE and output.
Set up new backend equipment and production lines per business needs.
Prepare documentation like FMEA, Control Plans, qualification reports and RCCA.
