Job summary

Konnco Studio in Indonesia is hiring a backend engineer to design, build, and maintain Go services. You will shape REST and gRPC APIs, optimize PostgreSQL schemas, and implement caching to reduce latency and database load.

This on-site role in Bantul requires 1–2 years in fintech, strong PostgreSQL, Docker, and Git workflows, and a proactive communicator ready to join ASAP.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of backend engineering experience, preferably in fintech.
• Strong PostgreSQL skills, including schema design, query optimization, transactions, and migrations.
• Familiar with caching using Redis or equivalent, along with REST and gRPC API design.
• Comfortable working with Docker for containerized services.
• Solid Git workflow, including branching, pull requests, and code review.
• Understands fintech engineering practices such as idempotency, decimal precision for monetary values, audit logging, and safe concurrent transactions.
• Good communicator, proactive in flagging blockers, and open to learning new technologies.
• Willing to work on-site (WFO) in Bantul (Join ASAP)
