Job summary

KitaLulus is seeking a seasoned Backend Engineer to design and maintain backend services with Node.js and TypeScript. You will own PostgreSQL schemas, migrations, and performance, and implement business logic for contracts, invoicing, and financial calculations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Backend Engineering.
• Strong recent experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Mandatory: Experience in Fintech or Financial Services (banking, lending, payments, leasing, or insurance).
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design, query optimization, transactions, and migrations.
• Experience with Prisma is a plus.
• Strong understanding of Clean, Layered, or Hexagonal Architecture.
• Experience building and maintaining third-party integrations and APIs.
• Strong testing and code review practices.
• Experience using AI coding assistants or agents in production is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Professional English communication skills.
• Willing to work onsite in South Jakarta, Monday-Friday, 11:00-19:00 WIB.
