VLink Inc sedang mencari Backend Engineer berpengalaman untuk mengembangkan aplikasi backend berbasis Java (Quarkus, Spring Boot) dengan arsitektur mikroservis. Peran ini menekankan API, integrasi layanan, dan kolaborasi lintas tim untuk solusi end-to-end yang andal.

Posisi ini menuntut keahlian dalam RabbitMQ/Kafka, Docker/Kubernetes, serta CI/CD dengan Jenkins. Pengalaman dengan AWS/GCP dan pemantauan via Prometheus/Grafana menjadi nilai tambah. Penempatan on-site di Jakarta.

Qualifications

• Minimal 4+ tahun pengalaman backend development atau bidang terkait.

Responsibilities

• Memimpin dan berkontribusi pada pengembangan backend menggunakan Java, Quarkus, Spring Boot.
• Merancang dan mengembangkan layanan mikro berbasis arsitektur mikroservis untuk keandalan, kinerja, dan skalabilitas.
• Bekerja sama dengan frontend, produk, QA, DevOps, dan pemangku kepentingan untuk solusi end-to-end.
• Bekerja dengan React untuk integrasi backend-frontend.
• Membangun RESTful APIs dan integrasi layanan.
• Implementasi komunikasi asinkron dengan RabbitMQ dan Apache Kafka.
• Mendukung pipeline CI/CD dengan Jenkins dan praktik DevOps.
• Mengelola containerisasi Docker dan orkestrasi Kubernetes.
• Mengembangkan, menerapkan, dan memelihara layanan cloud di AWS/GCP.
• Memantau sistem dengan Prometheus dan Grafana untuk visibilitas operasional.
• Mengidentifikasi bottleneck dan melakukan RCA untuk mencegah incidents.
• Melakukan code review, berbagi pengetahuan, dan membimbing rekan tim.
• Menilai teknologi baru untuk peningkatan arsitektur dan alur kerja.

DESKRIPSI PEKERJAAN

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and contribute to backend application development using Java, Quarkus, and Spring Boot, ensuring clean, maintainable, scalable, and high-quality code.
• Design, develop, and maintain microservices-based applications with a focus on system reliability, performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product teams, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver robust end-to-end software solutions.
• Work closely with frontend teams using React to ensure seamless integration between backend services, APIs, and user-facing applications.
• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and service integrations to support business requirements and efficient communication between distributed systems.
• Implement and maintain asynchronous communication and event-driven processing using RabbitMQ and Apache Kafka.
• Support and optimize continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines using Jenkins and related DevOps practices.
• Implement and manage application containerization using Docker and deployment orchestration using Kubernetes.
• Develop, deploy, and maintain cloud-based applications and services on AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Establish and maintain application monitoring, metrics, and performance dashboards using Prometheus and Grafana to improve system visibility and operational reliability.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks across application services, databases, APIs, messaging systems, and deployment environments.
• Investigate and resolve complex technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures to minimize recurring incidents.
• Conduct code reviews, promote best practices, and ensure adherence to coding standards, testing practices, and secure development principles.
• Provide technical direction, share knowledge, and support other engineers in solving complex development challenges and improving engineering productivity.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, identify opportunities for architectural improvements, and contribute to the continuous enhancement of development workflows and system performance.

KUALIFIKASI MINIMUM

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Minimum 4+ years of professional experience in backend development, software engineering, or a related technical role.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java and backend frameworks such as Quarkus and Spring Boot.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and service-to-service communication.
• Experience developing and integrating APIs, particularly RESTful services.
• Familiarity with React and the integration of frontend applications with backend services.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly Jenkins.
• Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and application deployment.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong understanding of messaging and event-streaming technologies, particularly RabbitMQ and Apache Kafka.
• Experience with application monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), version control, code reviews, testing, debugging, and production deployment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Previous experience in the Fintech or financial services industry is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to take technical ownership, guide development activities, and support engineering team members.
• Willingness to work onsite as required by the project.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing and operating high-availability, scalable, and resilient backend systems.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and asynchronous processing in distributed environments.
• Experience optimizing application performance, system observability, and production reliability.
• Understanding of secure software development practices and the importance of data integrity in financial applications.
• Experience contributing to technical design decisions, architecture reviews, and engineering process improvements.
