Job summary

OXSO in Bali is seeking an experienced Lighting Engineer to manage lighting requirements for daily venue operations, events, DJ performances, and special shows. You will operate and control lighting systems to create the desired ambience.

You will program lighting, perform setup, checks, and maintenance, and coordinate with AVL, Event, FOH, DJ, and Talent teams during events, ensuring safety and visual excellence.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Lighting Engineer, Lighting Technician, or Lighting Operator, preferably in nightclubs, entertainment venues, events, concerts, or hospitality.
• Good understanding of lighting consoles, DMX, programming, fixtures, signal flow, basic electrical systems, and troubleshooting.
• Able to program and operate lighting systems for live events and performances.
• Strong sense of ambience, timing, music, and visual experience.
• Able to work effectively in fast-paced and dynamic live operation environments.
• Willing to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Responsible, detail-oriented, communicative and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Preferred: Experience handling lighting for DJ performances, nightclubs, live music, or large-scale events.

• Maintain, monitor, and ensure the proper use and condition of all lighting equipment.
