Job summary

PT Hino Motors Sales Indonesia is seeking a data analytics specialist to analyze DTC and CAN data, identify trends, and support operational improvement. The role focuses on building dashboards and reports for performance monitoring across the dealership network.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical or automotive engineering background, strong data analytics skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a mechanical/automotive/ mechatronics field or related technical discipline.
• Experience in automotive analytics and fault/troubleshooting support preferred.
• Strong understanding of DTC and CAN data.
• Ability to interpret technical data and explain results clearly.

Responsibilities

• Analyze DTC and CAN data to identify trends, root causes, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop and maintain analytical dashboards and reports for performance monitoring.
• Provide technical analysis and consultation to dealers and customers to support issue resolution.
• Support failure detection and troubleshooting through data-driven insights.

Job description

Analyze operational data, particularly Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) data and key performance indicators (KPIs), to identify trends, root causes, potential risks, and opportunities for operational improvement.

Develop and maintain analytical dashboards and reports to support performance monitoring, operational evaluation, and business decision-making.

Analyze vehicle-related technical data, including DTC and Controller Area Network (CAN) data, to support failure detection, troubleshooting, and identification of potential technical issues.

Provide technical analysis and consultation to dealers and customers to support issue resolution, system implementation, and continuous operational improvement.

Qualification

Educational background in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.

Experience as a Project Planner in the automotive industry is preferred.

Basic knowledge of automotive systems and telematics.

Good understanding of Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC), Controller Area Network (CAN) data, and vehicle failure detection.

Familiarity with After-Sales Dealer Management Systems (DMS) and related business processes.

Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to interpret technical data and explain technical information clearly.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with data visualization tools is an advantage.

Mechanical or technical competency equivalent to the required E4 competency level.

Willing to work under a 1-year contract.
