Job summary

amIT Global Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Project Manager for logistics automation rollouts across Brazil and Southeast Asia. You will own delivery, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive vendor selection to ensure successful implementations.

The role requires 3+ years in supply chain/logistics project management, strong analytical thinking, and readiness to travel internationally. You will report on progress and risks, ensuring timely ramp-ups after go-live.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or above; master's advantageous but not required.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant full-time supply chain/logistics project management experience.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in logistics, supply chain, automation or related sectors (e.g., semiconductor, FMCG).
  • Structured, analytical thinking to solve ambiguous problems.
  • Ability to own issues through to resolution.
  • Quickly acquire new technical/domain knowledge.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-team collaboration.
  • Willingness to travel across Southeast Asia and Brazil.

Responsibilities

Job Description:
  • Own end-to-end project delivery for logistics automation rollouts: planning, stakeholder coordination, installation, ramp-up in Brazil and Southeast Asia.
  • Drive discussions with cross-functional teams to align on and push forward decisions on automation plans and roadmaps
  • Coordinate the design review and vendor selection process to ensure all stakeholder requirements are met
  • Manage timeline, quality, and vendor performance throughout the project
  • Identify and elevate project risks, and lead issue investigation with structured root cause analysis approach for timely resolution.
  • Build clear reporting on project status and risk to keep stakeholders informed
  • Coordinate with operations teams to enable a successful ramp-up post go-live

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or above in any field. A master's degree is advantageous but not required
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant full-time supply chain/logistics-related project management working experience
  • Minimum 1 year experience in relevant logistics, supply chain, warehouse automation, material handling equipment, semiconductor, electronics/industrial, pharmaceutical/ medical technology or FMCG/process manufacturing sector/industry, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply structured, analytical thinking to ambiguous or complex problems, clearly defining the decision at hand before pursuing a solution
  • Comfortable taking ownership of an issue and seeing it through to resolution
  • Demonstrated capacity to acquire new technical or domain knowledge quickly and apply it effectively
  • Strong stakeholder management skills proactively brings the right people into the conversation and keeps them updated as work moves forward
  • Passionate about automation technical expertise or process analysis expertise (e.g. Six Sigma) is a plus
  • Collaborative by nature builds trust quickly across teams, vendors, and cultures
  • Willingness to travel across Southeast Asia and Brazil as required for business needs
