Pengiklan Anonim seeks an Automation Engineer to lead regional automation opportunities across SEA & ANZ. The role focuses on technical sales support, project coordination, and service delivery to drive growth from current levels toward targeted orders and revenue.
Responsibilities include interfacing with customers, preparing proposals, coordinating clarifications with global teams, and delivering on-site services, upgrades, and modernizations to enable scalable automation solutions.
The Automation Engineer will serve as the regional focal point for all automation-related business opportunities, technical sales support, project coordination, and service execution across the SEA & ANZ region. The role is critical to driving automation business growth from the current level of approximately €0.5 million annually to a projected €1.5-2.0 million annually, generating €8.5-9.0 million in Order Intake over the next five years.
Key responsibilities
Act as the primary technical interface for all automation-related opportunities in SEA & ANZ.
Support Account Managers in identifying, developing, and converting automation business opportunities.
Prepare technical proposals, solution concepts, and customer presentations.
Coordinate technical clarifications with customers and global automation teams.
Serve as the main point of contact for automation projects within the region.
Coordinate with customers, account managers, engineering teams, and global automation experts.
Support execution of control system upgrades, QCS projects, machine rebuilds, and modernization projects.
Perform on-site service activities, troubleshooting, commissioning, and technical support as required.
Execute automation-related service contracts and support revenue generation through service activities.
Drive growth in automation sales, including control upgrades, Quality Control Systems (QCS), machine rebuilds, spares, and service agreements.
Requirement
Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related discipline.
5+ years of experience in industrial automation, process control, technical sales, or service engineering.
Experience with DCS, PLC, QCS, drive systems, or process automation solutions.
Strong customer-facing and communication skills.
Ability to travel extensively within SEA & ANZ.
Proficiency in English.
