Job summary

PT Transavia Otomasi Pratama in Indonesia is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to lead PLC/DCS/HMI replacement projects. You will prepare execution plans, schedules, engineering deliverables, and ensure alignment with client requirements.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Engineering, 5+ years in automation, and hands-on PLC/DCS/HMI programming, with experience in oil & gas. You will work from Duri, Riau, coordinating with project teams, vendors, QA/QC, and HSE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Physics, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Instrumentation, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in automation, PLC, DCS, or HMI projects.
• Hands on experience in PLC/DCS programming, modification, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
• Experience in project planning, progress monitoring, technical coordination, and project documentation.
• Able to understand control system architecture, logic diagrams, I/O lists, P&IDs, and related engineering documents.
• Experience in oil & gas projects will be prioritized.
• Familiar with major automation platforms such as Siemens, Allen Bradley, Schneider, Yokogawa.
• Willing to work at Duri, Riau

Responsibilities

• Prepare project execution plans, technical schedules, engineering deliverables, and work priorities for PLC/DCS/HMI replacement projects.
• Prepare and review DED, PLC/DCS/HMI programming, system migration, modification, and related technical documents.
• Monitor project progress, technical deliverables, material readiness, and site activities to ensure compliance with project schedule and client requirements.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, client, engineering team, procurement, vendors, site team, QA/QC, and HSE throughout project execution.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including technical submittals, progress reports, testing records, as-built documents, handover documents, and training records.
• Support installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, system start-up, and client training.
