Job summary

Schneider Electric Corp is seeking a Service Representative - Automation to deliver field services for industrial automation at customer sites across Indonesia. You will install, commission, and maintain control systems, ensuring performance, cybersecurity, and reliability.

Travel to client sites and collaboration with services teams are essential for success. The role requires a Diploma (D3) in a relevant engineering field, with preference for a Bachelor’s degree and hands-on automation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is an advantage but not required; diploma is the minimum.
• Hands-on experience with industrial automation, commissioning, maintenance, or field service.
• Familiarity with PLC, HMI, SCADA, and industrial networks."
• Experience with Schneider Electric platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, and commission automation systems at customer sites.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on PLC, HMI, SCADA, and drives.
• Diagnose issues and implement corrective actions.
• Back up configurations and documentation per procedures.
• Conduct functional and system tests and verify performance.
• Support modernization, migration, and upgrades.
• Ensure cybersecurity and change-control practices during fieldwork.
• Prepare service reports and recommendations after interventions.
• Maintain accurate work-order and installed-base records.
• Communicate findings clearly to customers and team members.
