Job summary

Pt Indobara Bahana is seeking a Field Sales Engineer for EPC projects to promote and sell advanced automation systems in Depok and surrounding areas. You will translate complex technical requirements into effective solutions and manage the sales process from initial contact to closing. The role requires a technical background, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to travel frequently within the territory. A hybrid work model offers field and office flexibility in Depok.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years in technical sales or field engineering, preferably automation.
• Strong knowledge of automation systems, PLCs, and industrial control.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the sales territory.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue sales opportunities for automation systems within target industries.
• Conduct technical consultations and site assessments to understand client needs.
• Develop and present customized proposals and technical solutions.
• Provide pre-sales technical support and collaborate with engineering teams post-sale.
• Negotiate contracts and close sales while aligning with company goals.
• Maintain relationships with existing clients and forge new connections in the field.
