Job summary

EDTS in Jakarta is seeking a junior UI/UX Designer to contribute to cross‑functional product teams. You will learn design systems, build user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes, and ship pixel‑perfect UI across projects.

You will collaborate with product managers and engineers, participate in usability testing, and grow through hands‑on mentorship from the design team in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, CS, IT, or related field.
• GPA of 3.2/4.0 minimum.
• Fresh graduate or up to 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Strong portfolio showing design process and UI/UX projects; include resume link.
• Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills; team player.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools in the design process is a plus.

Requirements

Person We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2/4.0
• Fresh graduate or professional with up to 1 year of relevant work experience
• A strong portfolio showcasing your design process, problem-solving ability, and UI/UX projects is required. Please include a link in your resume
• Proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
• Strong problem-solving skills and a critical thinking mindset
• Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team
• A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
• Have some hands-on experience using AI tools in the design process — for ideation, prototyping, or bridging design and development is a plus
• Interested in exploring UX Engineering and turning designs into functional, interactive prototypes
• Familiar with usability testing, such as moderated or unmoderated testing and heuristic evaluation
• Comfortable creating simple research plans, interview guides, or usability test scripts
• Open to working on design needs beyond product — such as presentation decks, web pages, or brand materials
• Have a basic understanding of motion design principles
