Job summary

HADS Partnership is looking for a capable lawyer to join our Jakarta office. You will examine contracts and legal documents, provide strategic advice, and draft/ review corporate and litigation papers for our diverse client base.

The role requires 2–3 years of law firm or legal department experience, an English proficiency, and a strong research/negotiation skill set. You will work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum S1 from reputable university.
• 2–3 years of experience in a law office or legal department.
• Advocate license is preferable.
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent in research, problem solving and negotiation skills.
• Responsible, growth mindset, time management and high integrity.

Responsibilities

• Examine, review and analyze contracts, memoranda, laws, regulations, verdicts and other legal documents.
• Provide solutions, strategy, advice and opinions on cases and legal needs of clients.
• Arrange, draft and review legal documents for corporate and litigation matters including letters, settlements and petitions.
• Assist or represent clients in litigation and non-litigation matters including civil, bankruptcy, suspension of payments, criminal cases and negotiations.
• Liaise with judicial, legal and government institutions to protect clients' interests.
• Monitor and report case progress in a comprehensive and timely manner.

Job description

• 1) Examine, review and analyze contract, memorandum, law, regulation, verdict and any other legal documents;


• 2) Provide solution, strategy, advise and opinion on the case and/or any legal need of client;


• 3) Arrange, draft and review legal documents both corporate and litigation including warning letter, legal correspondences, settlement agreement, petition, lawsuit etc.


• 4) Assist and/or represent client both in litigation and non-litigation matters including civil lawsuit, bankruptcy, suspension of payment, criminal, negotiation, dispute settlement etc.


• 5) Liaise with judicial, legal and government institution to fulfill, protect and maintain legal interest and need of the client;


• 6) Continuously responsible for case handling as well as for monitoring and reporting case progress in comprehensive and timely manner.

REQUIREMENTS

• 1) Minimum S1 from reputable university
