Job summary

Chora Mediterranean Restaurant in Ubud, Bali, is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support daily operations and guest experiences. You will supervise the service team, uphold service standards, and coordinate with Kitchen and Bar to ensure smooth operations in the Restaurant Manager's absence.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in hospitality operations, strong leadership, excellent communication skills in English, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in restaurant or hospitality operations.
• Experience as a Supervisor or Assistant Restaurant Manager preferred.
• Strong leadership and team-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good English communication, both spoken and written.
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Good knowledge of food, beverage, cocktails, and wine.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Restaurant Manager in managing daily restaurant operations
• Supervise the service team during daily operations and ensure smooth service
• Ensure all guests receive excellent and professional service
• Monitor service standards, SOPs, cleanliness, and restaurant presentation
• Conduct daily briefing and communicate important information to the team
• Support staff training, coaching, and performance development
• Handle guest requests, complaints, and special requirements professionally
• Coordinate closely with the Kitchen, Bar, Hostess, and other departments
• Monitor reservations, table allocation, VIP guests, and special occasions
• Support upselling of food, beverages, cocktails, and wine
